The structure is a four room adobe building. We are reconstructing a section of wall that has collapsed and will stabilize another wall that is beginning to fail. Additionally, we will repoint another section of wall.

Scope of Work

● Remove failing cement stucco

● Repair walls as needed with adobe bricks on site

● Mud plaster

● Exterior lime plaster

Volunteer Requirements

This job is physically demanding and participants should be able to comfortably lift 35lbs.  We will work approximately 7:30-5pm (includes time driving to site). We will take Saturday March 14th off, but volunteers are welcome to stay at the campground and explore the area.

Ideally, volunteers will join for a minimum of 3 days but some exceptions can be made. We are hoping to have 3-4 volunteers at a time. Priority will go to those who can join for both for longer periods of time.

Volunteers will receive a free campsite in the park, including access to warm showers, potable water, limited electricity, and a covered picnic table. Please contact Issac Logsdon at issac@cstones.org if you are able to volunteer and for more information!
